Same sex marriage is going to bring a huge social problem as children realize they are the product of sperm banks or in-vitro fertilization. Consequently, allowing sex marriage will only be hurting future generations by giving way for ne w social and psychological issues.On the issue of fidelity, most proponents of same sex marriage indicate that same sex marriage is not a threat to the institute of marriage (Mathews). In fact, it is an issue of preference and no one is obligated to act in particular manner. As a result, when it comes to fidelity, it too is a matter of preference which respective husbands and wives have an obligation to choose the course to follow. Gay marriage should not be the scapegoat of already existing social issues. In-vitro fertilization is currently an option for many same sex marriages who cannot conceive a child on their own. On the same basis, homosexual couples should be allowed to get children scientifically or through adoption (Bowman).
